About

Why I do this work

I came to psychiatric nursing because mental health care should feel like a conversation with someone who's actually listening. Over the past decade I've worked across the lifespan — kids, teens, adults — and what stays the same is the value of meeting people where they are.

My role is to listen first, ask questions second, and partner with you on a plan that fits your life, not a textbook. Sometimes that plan includes medication. Sometimes it includes a referral to a therapist I trust. Often, it's both — alongside small, practical steps you can take this week.

I work best with clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or are navigating life transitions, relationships, or school and work stress. Whether you're new to treatment or have prior experience, the goal is the same: stability, resilience, and a quality of life you actually want to live.

My approach

How we'll work together

My role is to listen, assess, and partner with you on a plan — whether that's medication, therapy referral, or both. Care that's personal, paced to you, and rooted in evidence.

Strength-based

We start with what's working and build from there — assets, goals, and aspirations first.

Motivational interviewing

Nonjudgmental listening, reflective conversation, and small concrete steps you can actually take.

Collaborative

You set the goals. I bring clinical training, evidence, and a steady, honest partnership.

A note to new clients

The first session is a conversation — no pressure, no script. Bring your questions, your history, and your goals. We'll figure out together whether I'm the right fit. If I'm not, I'll point you toward someone who is.
