Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Sunshine Psychiatry Consult ("we," "our," or "the practice") handles information collected through our website at sunshinepsychiatryconsult.com. This policy covers the website only. Protected health information (PHI) collected during clinical care is governed separately by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

Information we collect

This website is a static brochure site. It does not run analytics, does not set cookies, and does not log visitor IP addresses on its own. We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personal information directly through this site at this time.

If we add a contact form, intake form, or analytics tool in the future, this policy will be updated before that change goes live, and a new effective date will appear above.

Third-party processors

Booking, scheduling, telehealth video, secure messaging, and clinical records are handled through GrowTherapy, a HIPAA-compliant practice management platform. When you click "Book a consult" you are taken to GrowTherapy's client portal, which operates under its own privacy policy and Business Associate Agreement with our practice.

Our website may also be served through a content delivery network or static hosting provider, which may log standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. We do not use this data for marketing or profiling.

Cookies

This website does not set first-party cookies. Third-party platforms you may navigate to (such as GrowTherapy) set their own cookies under their own policies.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through the website. Clinical services for minors are provided only through a parent or legal guardian and are governed by HIPAA, not this website policy.

Your rights

Although we are based in Florida and Nevada, our website is reachable from anywhere in the United States. To the extent applicable state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended) grant you rights with respect to personal information we hold about you, those rights generally include:

  • The right to know what personal information, if any, we have collected about you.
  • The right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you.
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [Lorraine's email — placeholder].

Rights regarding protected health information (PHI) are governed by HIPAA and described in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the updated effective date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged on the home page or via direct notice to active clients where appropriate.
